ZOOM App is not Safe ,Why?

Zoom app is an online video conferencing application used by various government as well as private offices employees.

During past few weeks our country is under lock down due to the novel coronavirus and all the office works was shutdown.

So for continuing the work from home concept people ask to use zoom app to continue their work from home.

During past few weeks zoom app is trending on App store around the world.

This app was downloaded about 4,50,000 times a day for 2 weeks in India.

Even the government officials or ministers

Posted their pics on Twitter of using zoom app.

Why Zoom App is not Safe?

Everything was going good but on 16th April the cyber coordination centre (CyCORD) OF INDIA submitted 16 page PDF advisory, in which they says that the zoom app is not safe for government offices/officials to conduct their meetings on this app as said by the press bureau of India.

There is also guidelines for the people who is still wish to use this app for their personal or office communications.

You can follow this advisory to continue using the app.

The the cyber coordination centre of India takes this step as many international companies like Google, NASA ,Apple  andTesla probhited thier employees to use this app for official use.

Even the German and Taiwan Banned this app in thier nation.which has over 200 million users.

ZOOM chief executive Eric S yuan apologise and said that he respects the users privacy and takes the step toward fixing this issue. Also he recently hired former Facebook security officer  Alex Stamos for advice regarding this issue.
