Vishakapatnam Gas Leakage | 8 Died and 5000 fell Sick

The year 2020 comes with various types of hazards and some heartbreaking times. The year start with the CAA protest following by the coronavirus lockdown and few days ago we lost two gems of Bollywood(Irfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor).


As we recovering from these events a new tragedy happens we are talking about the 

Visakhapatnam gas leakage



It was the morning of 7th May Thursday at around 3:00 a.m. the styrene gas started to leakage from the polymer industry of LG situated at RR venkatapuram near to Naiduthota area close to Gopalpatnam.

In this gas leakage about 8 peoples died including 2 senior citizens and a  8 year old girl with this around 5000 people fell sick due to this gas leakage at the chemical plant at Vizag.

Due to this incident people within the radius of 3 kilometres many people were lying unconscious.
The people also complaint about rashes on their body and soar eyes.

When the the news comes to light the local police department  gets to work to evacuate the locals.


The circle inspector of gopalpatnam tell that he found about 50 persons fell unconscious on the roads and it is hard to reach the spot of the gas leakage.


Prime Minister Modi speak to  National Disaster Management Authority(NDMA) and Union home ministry to handle the situation find the  cause of gas leakage.


Around hundreds of peoples are admitted in the government hospital with the help of police and locals. Thode who are facing some breathing problems they were provided oxygen support.

Over 128 peoples admitted in the  in KGH hospital in which around 98 peoples are recovered and rest of the peoples are facing some minor breathing problems. The doctors of KGH hospital confirms that there is no chance of increasing the death number.


The NDRF and SDRF teams are also deployed for rescuing the people's
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy also make decision to go to the spot self.
