Tik Tok Star Murder Case - 2 Accused Arrested

NEW DELHI. MAY 12 A YEAR after a gym trainer who also had a sizeable following on TikTok was shot dead outside his residence in Najafgarh, two men who allegedly killed him have been arrested bytheDelhi Police Special Cell. The victim, Mohit Mor, was shotatleast 13 times by three people. including a juvenile on May 21.2019.

The accused 
Vikas (30) and RohitDagar(27)— are members of the Kapil Sangwan gang and were arrested from Punjab's Zirakpur on May 11. said DCP (Special Cell) Sanjeev Kumar Yadav. "Once we received inputs that the were hiding there. a raid was conducted and they were apprehended after chasing them for 500 metres. following which a scuffle also broke out.

 In a statement to the police, an eyewitness said the accused persons told Mor. "Tumhe hum banaate hain TikTok ka hem (Well cause you to a TlkTok hero)" , before shooting him. 

Police had apprehended the juvenile last year, while the opposite two men were on the run. 'They were wanted in many cases of murder, robbery and extortion in Delhi and Hawana," said Yadav. 


Yadav said  Delhi Police had put a reward of Rs 1.2 lakh on Vikas, and Rs 25,000 on Dagar. A police officer told . "The two accused had no personal enmity with Mor, and were a part of the Kapil Sangwan gang. acting as sharp shooters like many others.


Mor was not a part of any gang but Sangwan sus- pected he was passing infomation about him to a rival gang." Over the past year. the accused travelled through Himachal Pradesh and Punjab, and had been in Zirakpur since December. They stayed at each place only for a few weeks or a month. and kept moving. They were in touch with Sangwan through WhatsApp. 

Due to the lockdown. they were stuck at Zirakpur,and were staying  in a 1-BHK on fourth floor 
of a shopping complex. It's a U-shaped building and they would go to the terrace once a day to see if there was a suspicious vehicle or person around," said the police officer .


He said that on May 11, when the police team led by inspector Sanjeev Kumar reached the complex, Vikas was downstairs at- tending to a generator complaint. "As soon as he saw police. he started running, and was caught after a chase. Dagar was on the terrace and he locked it from in- side. We broke the door and ar- rested him" said the officer.
